The Malta Cross Foundation Europe (MCFE) is a non-for-profit institution of public service, and is enrolled with the Commission for Voluntary Organisations in the Republic of Malta in 2014 with the identification number VO/0886, and is subject to all the provisions of the Maltese legislation. Malta Cross Foundation Europe is affiliated in the Maltese Volunteers Council. Its main aim is to provide humanitarian aid not just by providing for material needs but also to provide educational programs to those in need. The Foundation aim to support and organise humanitarian work at both local and international level, to help and to promote health, education, culture and the arts at local and international level, and also to promote cultural exchanges and international co-operation in order to achieve a better understanding and tolerance among the different peoples and cultures. Malta Cross foundation is a voluntary, autonomous, non-profit- making organisation.
